Just found this on the web. It’s a new series made by Aardman Animations for the BBC based on the Wallace and Gromit character Shaun the Sheep. There is no direct input from Nick Park however, as always with Aardman, the attention to detail is amazing. It’s actually quite funny as well which is quite an achievement given there is no dialogue.

Each episode is six minutes long and there are currently two series with a third in production. The basic plot is that Shaun is a sheep of above average intelligence living on farm managed by a less than quick witted farmer. His other pals include Bitzer the sheep dog, Timmy the lamb, and Shirley a massively fat ewe.

If you like the sound of it check out the second episode of series one, in which Shaun and flock are forced to go in search of bath water, by clicking on the link below.

Series 1, Episode 2 – Bath Time

  1. I agree – Shaun the sheep is the best TV program for kids since Button Moon – and I’m 29 years old!
